Reverend William E. “Wishy” Nolan received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during Centenary’s 2023 commencement ceremony.
1979
Lucie Thornton was elected as a new member of the Centenary Board of Trustees at its February 2023 meeting. Thornton began her four-year term on February 1.
1992
Stacey Jordan was honored by the Commerce Department with the 2021 Gold Medal Award for Leadership. The Gold Medal is the highest award of the United States Department of Commerce. Stacey was Deputy Program Manager of a team honored for their leadership in successfully managing a $700 million multi-year, multimodal communications’ contract. They used extensive research to create unique messaging for targeted audiences and drove daily decisions on when, where, and how to optimize delivery during data collection. The group also significantly contributed to robust online self-response that exceeded expectations, as well as a complete count in spite of unprecedented challenges for the 2020 Decennial Census.
1993
Julie Kammer joined the Blue Williams firm in December 2022 as a Partner in its Metairie office. Julie’s practice is primarily focused in the areas of transportation and trucking, employment law, insurance defense, and general casualty litigation. She has been a guest lecturer in the area of workers compensation and has presented several seminars focused on hiring and termination practices, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the CARES Act and related legislation, and discrimination litigation. Julie has been recognized as an AV Preeminent attorney by her peers and as a Top Lawyer in Louisiana. She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeal, Fifth Circuit, United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and all Louisiana state courts.

Herb “Flight Time” Lang delivered the commencement address to Centenary College’s Class of 2023 during commencement exercises held in the College’s Gold Dome on Saturday, May 6.

Matthew Wallace started a new position as the Director of Advocacy for Louisiana at CHRISTUS Health in spring 2023.

Christine Martinez welcomed her first child with husband Tim. Noah Jay was born on March 30, 2023, at 8lbs.

Aaron Martin started a new position as Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing at SmileDirectClub.
Brandon Winningham has started a new position as Assistant Director of Academic Success at LSU Shreveport.
2015
Andrew Borel has started a new position as a dentist at Turtle Creek Dental Associates in Dallas, TX.
Greg Monette started a new position as President of Land at Hart Homes.
Lexi Ross Sebren has matched to Vanderbilt for a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus.
2016
Max Beilke joined Dynamic Campus as a Functional Analyst in May 2023.
Kirk Reedstrom wrote a graphic reader series, Duck and Moose, which has been bought by Regan Winter at Disney-Hyperion. Quiet-loving Moose's life is turned upside down by free-wheeling Duck, who makes himself a little too at home. The two will need to put their differences aside if they're ever going to be neighbors… or friends. Publication of the first two books is scheduled for spring 2024; Ana Crespo at East West Literary Agency negotiated the three-book deal for world rights. Ammiee Brown was promoted to Marketing Strategist at Ogilvy Denver in March 2023.
Allie Hornsby Cox received a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Arkansas State University in spring 2023.
2019
John Curtis Creed is the head freshman Basketball Coach at Brother Martin High School. He is a member of the New Orleans Pelicans as a Team Attendant with their Basketball Operations Department.
Mitchell Tarantolo was promoted to Lead Technician at Kepler Group Countwise in March 2023.
2020
Essa Badon has started a new position as Management Trainee at Cintas. She will be rotating through production, service, office/HR, and sales.
2021
Preston Ludwick started a new position as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Centenary College of Louisiana in March 2023.
Aeron Tisdale has been selected to serve as the next Chief Justice of the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law Honor Board.
